LA Vocal Booths are available in 9 different booth sizes, designed to fit a range of room layouts and space requirements.

The size lineup is organized into three categories based on width.

Each category includes multiple depths, allowing you to compare booth footprints from compact layouts to larger configurations.

Important Notes

4x4

Small booth — 4 ft wide.

The 4x4 is the smallest booth size in the lineup with a compact square footprint.

4x6

Small booth — 4 ft wide.

The 4x6 increases length within the 4 ft width category, creating a longer footprint than the 4x4.

4x8

Small booth — 4 ft wide.

The 4x8 extends length further within the 4 ft width category, forming a longer rectangular layout.

6x6

Mid-size booth — 6 ft wide.

The 6x6 introduces the 6 ft width category with a balanced square footprint.

6x8

Mid-size booth — 6 ft wide.

The 6x8 increases length within the 6 ft width category, creating a larger footprint than the 6x6.

6x10

Mid-size booth — 6 ft wide.

The 6x10 is the longest size in the 6 ft width category.

8x8

Large booth — 8 ft wide.

The 8x8 introduces the 8 ft width category with a larger square footprint.

8x10

Large booth — 8 ft wide.

The 8x10 increases length within the 8 ft width category.

8x12

Large booth — 8 ft wide.

The 8x12 is the largest size in the lineup, with the longest depth available.

How to Measure Your Space

Before choosing a booth size, measure your available floor width and length, ceiling height, entry path, and clearance for ventilation and installation.

The model determines wall construction, thickness, and overall sound reduction performance. Each model uses a different wall system, which directly affects how much outside noise is reduced inside the booth.

Single wall construction designed for moderate sound reduction.

Double wall construction designed for higher sound reduction.

Sound Level Reference

This chart provides a simple way to understand common noise levels.

Approximate sound levels for common environments. Actual dB levels vary by distance, source, and room conditions.

30 dB: Quiet rural area
40 dB: Inside a library
50 dB: Conversation at home
60 dB: Restaurant conversation
70 dB: Vacuum cleaner
80 dB: Garbage disposal
90 dB: Lawnmower
100 dB: Speakers in a club
110 dB: Car horn

Sounds above 85 dB can be harmful with prolonged exposure.

Notes

LA Vocal Booths are available with 3 door options: Flush, 1/2 Lite, and Full Lite.

Each option uses a 30" solid core door. The main difference is whether the door includes a window and the size of the window.

Flush

Solid core door with no window.

The Flush door is the simplest option and provides a clean, solid door appearance.

1/2 Lite

Solid core door with a W2' x L3' window.

The 1/2 Lite door adds visibility while keeping the window area smaller than the Full Lite option.

Full Lite

Solid core door with a W2' x L5' window.

The Full Lite door provides the largest door window option for increased visibility into or out of the booth.

LA Vocal Booths are available with 3 ventilation options: Basic, Standard, and Premium.

Each option is designed for a different ventilation need, from using your own airflow setup to choosing a full system with fan noise and air noise control.

Standard and Premium both use an intake fan to push air into the booth and an exhaust fan to pull air out of the booth.

Important Note

Ventilation quantities vary based on booth size. Larger booths may require different quantities than smaller booths.

Fan isolation boxes are included with Standard and Premium ventilation. Silencer boxes are only included with Premium ventilation.

Basic Ventilation

Basic ventilation is for customers who plan to use their own ventilation setup or do not need ventilation included with the booth.

This option keeps the booth package simple without included powered ventilation.

Standard Ventilation

Standard ventilation includes an intake fan that pushes air into the booth and an exhaust fan that pulls air out of the booth.

This option is meant to be used between recordings or during rehearsal. It is not silent, so the fans should not be used while recording.

The fan isolation boxes help reduce the noise of the fans. Standard ventilation does not include silencer boxes to reduce the sound of moving air.

Premium Ventilation

Premium ventilation includes an intake fan that pushes air into the booth and an exhaust fan that pulls air out of the booth.

This option includes fan isolation boxes and silencer boxes. The silencer boxes help reduce the noise of moving air so you can record with the fans on.

The fan isolation boxes help reduce the noise of the fans. The silencer boxes help reduce the noise of moving air, which allows the system to be used while recording.

If you plan to use your own ventilation or do not need an included system, choose Basic.

If you need airflow between recordings or during rehearsal, choose Standard.

If you want to record with the fans on, choose Premium.

Basic does not include lighting. Standard includes a color-changing LED light bar. Premium includes a color-changing LED light bar and LED rope light.

Basic lighting does not include any built-in lighting.

This option is best for customers who plan to use their own lighting setup or do not need integrated booth lighting.

Standard Lighting

The LED light bar is color changing and app controlled, making it a flexible option for customers who want integrated booth lighting with smart control features.
